About the event
In 2025, a major event that musical fans have been waiting for will open at Budapest Arena! The masterpiece musical "Elisabeth", which has been loved for over 20 years, will return as a spectacular concert show with the original Hungarian cast. The star-studded cast includes Janza Kata, known as "Hungarian Elisabeth", and Szabo P. Silvester as "Death = Thoth". It will be a truly dreamlike stage performance.
The Hungarian version of Elisabeth has been generating a lot of buzz ever since it first premiered in 1996. This Vienna-based musical, with book and lyrics by Michael Kunze and music by Sylvester Levay, depicts the turbulent life of the historical figure, Empress Elisabeth.
